The Superman zipline experience is the ultimate adrenaline rush in Boquete. Participants glide along the highest and longest zipline circuit in Panama—consisting of three cables—allowing you to literally fly like Superman! This activity takes place within a private reserve that also offers a conventional zipline course.
What makes the Superman option so special is the sense of adventure and the speed: you can reach up to 116 kilometers per hour (72 miles per hour)! Furthermore, you will feel as though you are soaring above the treetops, as the circuit is located 230 meters above the ground. The views of the valley provide spectacular panoramas of the cloud forest and the surrounding mountains.
The three Superman zipline segments range in length from 950 to 1,450 meters, made possible by the use of exceptionally long cables. Both the equipment you will use and the steel cables have a load capacity far exceeding the weight of any individual, regardless of their build: the harness can support up to 909 kg (2,000 lbs), and the cable can hold up to 4,500 kg (10,000 lbs). Nevertheless, there are weight and height restrictions, which you can review in the frequently asked questions (FAQ) section. The guides are fully trained to manage this activity, and you will receive a safety briefing before you begin.
